That feeling when you’re playing the NYT Spelling Bee and the first thing you see when you open it up is the pangram…

It's funny hearing classical music in a setting like the radio, or SiriusXM, where I've got some vague recollection I've heard whatever it is. Happened this morning while listening to the Vox Choral program on Symphony Hall on SiriusXM. Turns out it was a piece from a CD I bought like 30 years ago when I was trying to broaden my listening to include choral music (failed experiment back then too. But love it now!).

Technically Ivory is more flexible. But I want to hide boosts everywhere without needing to select filters for each timeline.

Ivory would be better if it implemented full blocking of boosts in the timeline like Ice Cubes vs using a filter. Least in my opinion.

Really wish Drafts would implement some sort of image handling. I get that it's "where text starts" but when you have support for multiple blogging platforms images become a lot more important.

Nothing like being woken up by a (thankfully) false alarm phone call at 1:30AM then having to get up again at 4:30 to drive someone to the airport. My brain is useless for the rest of the day.

Until PikaPods gets a better backup solution I really need to think about how I'm going to back up my Ghost site that's running there...

Subscribed to Letterbird Pro this morning on a monthly basis to support the folks maintaining it. So far it's been pretty useful and I think it's important to support the services I'm using.

Seeing, as I expected, the hot takes that “Android already did this” after the WWDC keynote, which frankly is irrelevant to iPhone users. Honestly, who cares.

It always amuses me when people hear "Semi-Charmed Life" from Third Eye Blind for the first time and don't pay any attention to what he's actually saying.

🌤️ Weather in Chicagoland is absolutely perfect today! Mid-70s, low humidity, mostly sunny. I should have gone up to Road America in Wisconsin today for the Indycar race where the weather is as perfect as here.

Sam Harris has decided to start writing again via Substack and wants $12/month or $100/yr. Yeah no sorry Sam. Already subscribing to several others all for the same $12/month.

One thing that annoys the hell out of me with Ghost is that if you update the title it doesn't update the post slug. Most times I put in whatever first comes to mind and change the title after editing but the damned slug doesn't update.
